Valentine Eve

I love Valentine's Day!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!!  I like all the hearts and cuties pink and red stuff.  I especially love that it gets me further away from the yuckiness of January and icky winterness.  I wish Jer shared my love for the day but alas I married a super hot guy and I am thankful enough for that!
See I told you he was hot, and he brings home the beef for our family.
(for those of you that don't know I hate pork!)

So for my cute family I like to find just the right Valentine's Day gift.  I also have to give a huge shout out to Jer's wonderful coworkers who made sure his present got to him.  I love how easy online shopping is, and how I can just send things straight to Alaska.  So I found Jer the perfect present online at Cabelas, and had it sent straight to Alaska, where Jer's coworkers made sure that he got it before he flew to the slope.  I can't wait to get a picture of him wearing it!!!

Super Hot Don't you think?!?!
I also slipped some polar bear suckers in Jer's baggage, cause Jer loves Polar bears ;)

So for Parker I needed something that would show his true colors!
Yep! My kid is a stud too!

For Miss Payton I needed something that would sweeten her up.  I was at my all time favorite place, no not my job, but close Tia Pan Trading and I saw a perfect present for Payton!
GUMBALLS and LOTS of them!

And Me What do I want?  Happy Kids!  a content husband, and someone to mop my kitchen floor!
PS and some Dove chocolates of course!

In all seriously I am very blessed and loved!  A special thanks to my sweet husband who works so hard for our family.

Not so good family tradition

I have a not so good family tradition of not taking Halloween Pictures!  Every year we get caught up in the momment and forget to take pictures.  This Halloween lasted forever, from the 1st day of October the kids were bugging me to wear their costumes.  Then we planned for the school PTO Fall Carnival, which turned out great and was so fun. But again no pictures.  So Friday the kids headed to school oh so sad because they didn't get to wear their costumes.  But not to worry that afternoon we partied like rockstars!  Then we did the trunk or treat which works so well in La Sal and got loads of candy, and were in bed by 9 pm!  Then Saturday we drove to Cedar City so we could party with Megan, Andrew, Lindsay, Carson, and my Mom who is having her radiation in Cedar.  We went shopping and to a quilt show whle the boys stayed at home and carved pumpkins!  I really do have the best brother in laws. Then Lindsay and Carson took the kids trick or treating then we sent them to bed and ate their candy and played games.
So this is the only picture I have of us in costume  opps, but we had tons of fun.

I Could Just Live Here!

When we went to pick Jer up at the Airport we had big plans, well they didn't start out to be big plans they turned into big plans. We have been in talks about having Jer fly into Grand Jct instead of SLC, so I wanted to make sure that we took Payton to the Zoo, because she has been asking about it since Jer started flying to work. So we planned a trip to the Zoo, but then it just happened to work out that Megan, Mom and her sisters were going to be up north also. So because we never want to miss out on anything we went to the Zoo, and then we met everyone at Gardner's Village for lunch at one of my favorite restaurants.
