So after I get after this Coach/Dad, he goes up and apologizes to Jer. Really cause Jer just totally put himself out there for our son. Oh well at least he apologized, and then at the Farmington Tournament Parker wrestled the kid again and it was a much better match. I am sorry that I had to get a little snarky, but if I made this coach think about the baggage that other kids are bring to the mat, then maybe it was worth it to be a Mama Bear.

I'm that kind of Mom
Everyone knows I am loud. It is one of those things that I would change about myself in a heartbeat. Especially now that I have kids. I don't want to embarrass them, most of the time. I like my kids to do well, and thrive. Sometimes, okay most of the time I am frustrated because I am a type A personality, and my kids are cool to just slide by in life. Ahhhh, don't you want to get better??? I will practice with you, I will put time into it, I will drill you!!! Oh well I can't live their lives for them. Okay now on to the post. Parker decided to try wrestling again this year, he had wrestled previous years and then taken last year off. Part of me thinks that he just did it because Jer and I like wrestling so much, part of me thinks his friends from school talked him into it. Parker has Aspergers, so he doesn't like to be touched, he doesn't like bright lights, and he doesn't like to be yelled at, or loud noises. So what does Parker like about wrestling, you may ask. Well he loves the concession stand, his personal favorite is Nachos. Yes cause who doesn't love to sit in an over crowded stuffy gymnasium with you kid eating chips dripping with gooey artifically colored gloop! With no napkins. I am so proud of Parker for doing wrestling this year even though he doesn't love it. At the Blanding wrestling tournament I became that Mom!!! You know the one, the crazy one, I like to think that Jer has rubbed off on me a little bit, so it wasn't as bad as you are imaging. In the video you will see an awesome wrestler, his mat balance is amazing, what isn't amazing is that his coach was coaching him to rack up points on Parker. It is one thing to do this in practice, it is another thing to do it in a tournament. It made me so mad, does this other coach know how hard it is to get Parker to the tournaments, and how hard it is to keep him there once the tournament starts. So after Parkers' match I talked to the coach, pretty sure it was his Dad. I was super duper nice and I tried talking him ahout just going for points on a kid with Autism is pretty cruel. I tried to tell him that there is a place for practicing and that he could see that Parker was not on the same level as his kid. He was quite rude to me and told me that he can't help it that his kid is just good. Yep your kid is awesome sir, it's your coaching that is lacking. I was so hurt, everything is such a struggle at our house, from getting dressed in just the right clothing, that don't rub your body anywhere, to eating just the right the food, to never sleeping, hardly ever! Not to mention when Parker decides that he is going to go to a tournament, and then freaks out all week because he has to wrestle. Yep sir your kid is just good! (and my heart is broken.) So hear in the match with the really good kid.

When do you feel the spirit?
Twice a year the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints holds it General Conference where we get to hear from our living prophet and other church leaders. It is a wonderful spiritual time, where many times I have felt like the talks were prepared especially for me. This year I eagerly awaited that talk that was meant for me. Many times I felt little bits were for me, but I truly loved when the the Tabernacle Choir sang Come, Come Ye Saints. I found this on YouTube, it isn't the version that was sang during conference, but you get the point.
ALL IS WELL
I was also very taken by the closing statement that President Thomas S. Monson shared. I loved that he challenged us to study the talks that have been shared in this conference. He asked us to be kind, loving, and tolerant to others that don't share our beliefs. He pronounced a blessing on our homes, and said "if we will put our trust in the Lord he will help us through our difficulties, what ever they may be." Psalm 30:5 Weeping may endure through a night, but joy will come in the morning. What comfort this brings and I am so glad that we have a living prophet to remind me of this.

What do you believe in?
Miss Payton has been working on memorizing the Articles of Faith, they are a list of 13of our churchs' core beliefs. She is goes once a week to achievement day, and works with Sister Blankangle, and the other girls. Here they recited them all as group. I am so proud of Miss Payton, she worked on these so hard. I am so proud of her. Every spare second she had she was studying. If you would like to learn more about our core beliefs it is right here:

Hank the Jogging fool!!!
Today I finally decided that I felt well enough, and that it was warm enough to start jogging again. I got all dressed up in my spiffy jogging outfit, and Hank scratched on the door and wanted to come in. I opened the back door and he saw me and ran and crashed straight into the front door because he was so excited to go jogging. I thought you might enjoy what a spaz my dog is when he thinks you are going to go running with him. (Disclaimer: We live on 40 acres and Hank could go for a run any old time he felt like it.)

Fun Story -or not?
I love this hardworkig man, isn't he cute when he is sleeping!!!
Okay here are all the cute pictures from our trip to Cedar City. "Why were you in Cedar City?" you ask. Well it is a funny story, or not so funny if you are me! For Christmas my Dad gave me one of the best presents I have ever recieved a Bosh mixer with a blender attachment. I was so excited I knew that's what I was getting so I had a whole list of things that I was going to make with it. On Christmas night after all the festivities we headed to Grand Junction to Jeremy's parents house. I begged him to bring my mixer but he said their wasn't any room -He always says that. And because I had just had surgery I couldn't lift my mixer, so I went and said good-bye to it. We spent time in Grand Jct, and then time back at home. Due to my surgery I was moving extra slow, and had to take down all the Christmas decor before Jer went back to work. So after it was all down we headed to Moab to pick up my mixer. We got to my Dad's and I went to get it and it was GONE. I had a momentary freak out! Asked my Dad three times if he had really gotten me one, and he said he had so I called Megan. Now know as Rat Sister. Rat Sister did not answer her phone, so I called other sister who I am still thinking up a not nice name. Not nice Sister answered her phone and said she that Rat Sister had taken her mixer home for her, and then her husband informed her that he had packed her mixer in their little tiny car. (Imagine that they had room in their little tiny car for big large mixer, and baby and baby supplies. Hum I am going to have to talk to Jer about this!) Any way Rat Sister had packed her Bosch and my Bosch thinking it was not nice sisters' Bosch. I was recovering from Surgery and couldn't drive to Cedar to pick it up, So I had to wait the 21+ days until Jer got back to take me!
Moral of the story: If your Dad gets you a really cool gift take it home right that minute, even if he got your not so nice Sisters the same exact present.

We don't have stairs at our house
We went to visit Megan, Andrew, & Alex in Cedar city, and I loved how Alex would go down the stairs on his belly so quickly. I made him let me take a video, and then my kids wanted to join in the fun.
